That brings back memories. I first PC was a Tandy Color Computer 1 trs-80. Worked on BASIC. Backup to an audio tape. It was difficult then to enter in all 300-400 lines of basic code to get a program to run. Easier now!!!

i was beginning with a Sinclair ZX81, then a Texas TI99?, then a Schneider CPC446, then Schneider CPC 664 (1. with 3" disk), then Atari ST, then Atari Falcon, and finaly a pc with windows 3.11 (Bill Gates won )

I bougth my first computer in 1980 and it was a TK90X, assembled in Brazil by Microdigital. It was superlative: 8Mb RAM, conected by RF connection to a TV set (video monitor) and the data storage device was a tape audio recorder. The programs was based on BASIC...

Back to the past... my 1st computer, hum... 386 SX (if I remember ), 4 Mo Ram, hard Drive 80 Mo !! My father asked about the capacity; the guy in the store said : "you'll need at least another life to fulfil 80 Mo, sir !!"

Then: 486 DX 4-100, first CD-rom burner (4x, scsi adaptec) Pentium 75, etc...

Taught myself on DOS 3.2 on an Amstrad. History...

My first computer is 1982 Olympia People , Prologue 90 O.S. and a terrific basic compiler called BAL.... nice times.
I could program create a complex database in 11K EXE ... really great times.
